February Theme: Angels, Hearts, Lockets and Keys - Oh My!

Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 9:30a.m. - 4:00p.m.

Learn from local artist, Cathy Green, how to make fine silver jewelry in a one-day workshop. Students will complete a pair of earrings and a pendant or two. The cost of the class includes your silver, ear wires and leather necklace for your pendant.
No art skills needed.

Special Mixed Media On Canvas! Workshop By Lorelle Bacon

Saturdays, March 17 & 24, 2012 from 10a.m. - 3p.m.

This popular two-day workshop is different, fun and creates an amazing 3-dimensional effect!

Students will be using Modeling Paste along with oils and acrylic paints.

Students may choose landscapes, animals, still life, people, seascapes and more. "Real objects" such as pebbles, string, etc. may also be added to the painting if students wish to do so, and will be furnished. Come join the fun...bring a lunch and wear old clothes.
Cost: $120 + $10 for some supplies

Lorelle has 20 years experience as an instructor and artist in many mediums. She will gently guide you from start to finish.

Oil Painting Classes

Oils for Adults, Mondays from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

"Painting with joy"...Focus on Impressionism...using wash techniques.
4 classes - $65 - materials not included.
These classes are on-going...join any time!
Taught by Joi Ostefjellse, who has 30+ years of painting and teaching experience.

Tuesdays, from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Thursdays, from 1-3 p.m.

Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Pencil - your choice (or all!)
Students will progress at their own pace, working in their choice of mediums on subjects they want to learn.
Classes are for Beginners through Advanced
4-2 Hour Classes - Cost: $60 Join the class any time!

Artist Workshop

This is a chance for artists to come together, share ideas, meet new people, and be inspired. Bring whatever medium you are working on - watercolor, quilting, knitting, scrapbooking, oil, baskets and on and on.
