Mountain Glory Quilters' Guild Exhibit October 2008Downtown Marion's annual Mountain Glory Festival brings their namesake, the Mountain Glory Quilters Guild, to MACA's gallery each October. A spectacular display of color, skill and creativity is present in each individual quilt honoring the historic tradition of quilt making.

The best place to buy for the holidays and all year round! This show and sale expands the gift shop into the gallery throughout December. Featuring the work of McDowell County artisans exhibiting pottery, woodworking, basketry, jewelry, textile arts and other fine crafts. No admission. 10am-6pm, M,Tu,Th,F and 10am-2pm, Wed & Sat. Exceptional, one of a kind gifts are featured in the Gallery Gift Shop. Spectacular pottery, hand turned wood products, quilts, textile art, jewelry, hand woven baskets and much more. The shop is staffed by volunteers and artisans. Open 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
